Execution of a training program on advanced contracts for projects

Within NOC’s interest in training and qualifying the national personnel, a training program was held in the period between 22 January to 9 February 2017 under the supervision of the Technical and Administrative Development Centre of the General Department of Human Resources. Top legal specialists working at NOC and oil companies joined this training program.
The program included a number of lectures in the field of contracts and agreements, especially project contracts, management contracts and other types of contracts for the purpose of providing the participants with the skills and capabilities that contribute to preparing the contracts correctly and properly in a way that protects the rights of oil and gas sector in Libya and ensures the application of laws and regulations issued by this authority. The trainer of this program was Dr. Othman Said Alemheishi, whose fields of specialization are contracts and arbitration.
At the end of the program certificates of attendance were awarded to the trainees in the presence of Mr. Abder-rizag Ben Yousif General Manager of Human Resources Development Department and Mr. Musbah Alkanouni Manager of the Technical and Administrative Development Center at NOC.
This program was aimed at upgrading the capabilities and qualifications of the people working in the legal affairs at NOC and other oil companies in order to update them with the latest developments in this field and motivate them to exert more efforts to achieve the desirable performance.
It is worth mentioning that this training program is within the training plans and programs that are organized and supervised by the General Department of Human Resources which include several fields that contribute to improving the personnel’s abilities and skills in the oil and gas sector.
