Libya Ramps Up Oil Production, Threatening OPEC Plans

Libya’s crude-oil production has more than tripled in the past six months, imposing an obstacle to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries’ plans to raise petroleum prices by collectively lowering output.
