Overview of CTG Global CTG support and manage humanitarian projects in fragile and conflict-affected countries around the world. Overview of position Our Client is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. It is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants.
Role objectives Under the overall supervision of the Senior Operations Officer and the direct supervision of the Operations officer (AVRR/Reporting) the incumbent will be responsible for the data verification, management and analysis for all AVRR programs.
Expected output In particular s/he will: 
Identify migrants. 
Coordinate with appropriate colleagues to assist with travel documents and exist visa. 
Verify migrant’s document/identify as necessary and confirm the validity of travel documents prior interview appointment. 
Conduct migrant’s interview using following our client's standard forms, procedures and code of conduct. 
Coordinate with the appropriate colleague to proceed with the booking. 
Coordinate with the medical staff for the FTT medical check. 
Keep track and properly ensure that the information collected in the interviews is correctly and accurately entered into movement database. 
Ensure that “general status report” as well as all files related to operational activities are kept up to date. 
Assist in the Airport if needed. 
Inform about any NO-SHOW cases. 
Participate in discussions on procedures and practices to improve the efficiency of process delivery. 
Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Project reporting Reporting to the Project Manager
Key competencies Strong practical computer skills, including Excel spread sheet and Access database and experience of work with on-line applications. 
Required functional competencies: effective communicator, successful negotiator, creative and analytical thinker, active learner, team player, and cross cultural facilitator. Ability to read, understand and apply written instructions and guidelines; interpret instructions and resolve work related problems; detect input/output errors; perform basic arithmetical calculations. 
Mature individual and able to work on overtime, when requested and independently. 
Previous working experience with NGOs or international organizations, is an added advantage 
Experience preferably with a Government agency, international organization or NGO involved in migration management and/or working in the field of human rights; 
Experience with raising awareness; 
Experience in producing documents for publication, and in writing and producing print ready documentation in different styles and formats to a high standard; 
Familiarity with Project Cycle Management including the monitoring and evaluation of results / outcomes / evidence of impact; 
Excellent IT skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proven experience in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word processing and Power point.
