Job Description

We are currently seeking a Radiation Protection Coordinator for a long term position based at our client’s facility in Libya. Rotation is 35 days on / 28 days off.

The Radiation Protection Advisor (RPA) takes ownership of NORM Management within our client’s operations and all its operations premises in compliance with the requirements of the Libyan Government and the guideline of the international agencies. The RPA shall:

Provide guidance on operating criteria in NORM contaminated sites, and update management on areas of risk.

Develop necessary procedures for managing of NOM contaminated material.

Conduct necessary audits

Develop training packages

Qualifications

Relevant degree or equivalent in Engineering or science

Diploma or equivalent in Management of NORM

Qualified as Professional Radiation Specialist

Ten years experience in the oil and gas sector
