The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Libya is seeking a Translator/Interpreter.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate documents from English to Arabic and vice versa, as required.
• Interpret between English and Arabic during meetings
• Provide administrative support to the Ambassador
• Maintain a database of contacts and develop network with senior officials within the Libyan government and the private sector.
• Keep abreast of economic & political developments in Libya and inform as required.

Terms of employment

 Two year contract with the possibility for extension.
